Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Culina Enterprise LLC (“Culina”, “we”) collects through culinarms.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to the website and to the signup, demo and verification forms on it.

Who we are

The website and the Culina restaurant management system are operated by Culina Enterprise LLC. For any privacy question, write to hello@culinarms.com.

Information you give us

We collect only what you type or upload into our three forms — the six-month signup, the demo request and the venue verification page:

  • Full name, business email and phone number.
  • Restaurant name, venue type (restaurant, café or counter) and country.
  • Number of tills and the Culina address (subdomain) you request for your system.
  • Your preferred day and time for a demo, and any notes you add.
  • For verification: your trade licence and proof of ownership or authority to act for the venue, uploaded as PDF, JPG, PNG or HEIC files.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address — used only to limit repeated submissions (rate limiting) and protect the forms from abuse.
  • Browser user agent — stored with your enquiry to help us troubleshoot.
  • Pages visited and how the site is used — collected by the analytics tools described below.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo and set up your Culina system.
  • To verify that you own or are authorised to act for the venue before activating the launch offer.
  • To send you confirmation and service emails about your request.
  • To understand how the website performs and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
  • To keep the website and forms secure.

Where it is stored and processed

Your information is processed by a small number of service providers acting on our behalf:

  • Our hosted database and private document storage (Supabase), where enquiries and verification documents are kept. Documents are never public and are viewed only through short-lived signed links by authorised staff.
  • Transactional email (SendGrid), used to send confirmation and notification emails.
  • Our licence and onboarding server, which creates and configures your Culina system.
  • Our website hosting provider, which serves the pages you visit.

Analytics and advertising cookies

We use the following tools, which may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:

  • Microsoft Clarity — session analytics, including heatmaps and anonymised session recordings, to improve the site.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregated statistics on visits and pages viewed.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing — to measure when an ad leads to a signup or demo request and to show Culina ads to people who have visited the site.
  • Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising) — measures sign-ups that come from our ads and may set a cookie.

How to opt out

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” or tracking-prevention mode.
  • Turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Opt out of Microsoft Clarity by following the instructions in Microsoft’s privacy statement or by blocking clarity.ms in your browser.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information.

  • Authorised partners who help us deliver and support the service in your country, where applicable, under confidentiality terms.
  • The service providers listed above, only as needed to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry information is kept while your enquiry or subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can answer follow-up questions and meet our legal obligations. Verification documents are deleted once the review is complete, or sooner if you ask us.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@culinarms.com from the address you used on the form and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls and private storage to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people and providers who need it.

Children

Culina is a service for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed; significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
